ENGAGED | CHRISTINE & GRANT | MT. PISGAH ARBORETUM | EUGENE, OREGON ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

It’s been 6 weeks since our baby girl was born, and we finally got behind the camera again last weekend! Christine and Grant’s engagement session was such a fun way to return from our photography hiatus. We loved getting to explore Mt. Pisgah Arboretum with them, while chatting about all kinds of fun (and nerdy) topics. When I found out how much Christine and Grant love Harry Potter and Friends (the tv show), I knew we’d get along just fine! (Fun fact: I’ve seen every episode of Friends at LEAST 5 or 6 times.)

In fact, Christine and Grant first connected with each other over these shared interests. They met online more than 4 years ago, and Grant’s first message to Christine asked her to choose between Harry Potter and Friends. Christine replied, “I don’t choose favorites”, and they hit it off immediately. They met in person on August 24, 2014, and they’ve been together ever since!

Grant proposed to Christine on October 21, 2017, at the 2towns cider harvest party. At the festival, there was a decorated section where attendees could have their picture taken. It was here, while they were in front of the camera, that Grant got down on one knee and asked Christine to marry him. “After the shock of a huge crowd around us, I said yes!” Christine recalled.

Christine and Grant will be getting married in less than a month, on June 22nd! “I am most looking forward to having all our friends and family around to see how happy Grant and I are with each other,” Christine said. “And finally getting to call him my hubby!”¬†These two are such a fun couple, and we can’t wait to see them again and capture their joy on their special day!
