Weddings

On Monday, June 25th, we had the joy of capturing Rachel and Cody’s wedding day at Shadow Hills Country Club in Eugene. Rachel and Cody are good friends of ours, and we’ve had the honor of photographing so many exciting milestones for them this year–their engagement photos, graduation photos, and finally, their wedding day. We love getting to capture our clients’ special moments–it’s a privilege that not many people get trusted with, but it’s definitely the most rewarding part of this job!

I have known Rachel and Cody since my college days, and I have loved watching their relationship develop to where it is now. They are such a joyful couple, and so fun to be around! Whether it’s a dinner party or game night, they love opening their home to others, and they are always very intentional and genuine with those they care about most.

From the beginning, Rachel and Cody’s wedding day was a beautiful reflection of them as a couple. Multiple times, I heard Rachel say, “This is the most relaxed I’ve felt all week!”–and Cody was much the same. Whether they were laughing with friends, playing a game of cards before walking down the aisle, or spending time with their loved ones, they were entirely present, and brimming with joy all day long. They were so ready and so excited to get married, and nothing could ruin their special day.

I could go on for a while about how lovely their wedding day was, but instead, I’ll let you can see for yourself! Rachel and Cody are currently honeymooning in Europe, but we hope they’ll be able to sneak a peak at these photos while they’re there, and reminisce about the day they became husband and wife.

We’re so excited for them to begin this journey together, and we wish them nothing but happiness in this adventure called marriage.
